Holy Communion

Receive Holy Communion

I encourage you to continue to get to know your Abba Father through the knowledge of Jesus Christ in the Scriptures. You have a Heavenly Father who loves you very much and desires to break bread together with you. I believe for this reason God instituted the Holy Communion that you might have simple relationship with Him by faith.

To partake of Holy Communion is to remember and celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ together with your Heavenly Father. As you partake, you are participating in the Lord’s suffering, becoming like Him in His death that the power of resurrection may rise in your circumstance. It will cause you to meditate on the whole finished work of Christ and flame the sense of being the righteousness of God in Christ. Meet with Him and partake of Holy Communion regularly.

Holy Communion consists of two elements:

  • The body is represented by bread, cracker, or something edible you may have. When you partake, you are declaring that Jesus’ body was broken so health and divine life flows in your mortal body.
  • The cup of the blood is represented by grape juice, wine, or something drinkable you may have. When you partake, you are declaring that you are completely forgiven of the sin of your entire life and are eternally righteous in Christ.

Before you partake, remember that the Holy Communion is not a ritual to be observed, but a blessing to be received. Because it is not a ritual, specific ingredients like bread or wine are not important. What's important is you know by faith the ingredients you use represent the Lord's body and blood

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you." -  Luke 22:19-20

Holy Communion:

(Hold the bread) “Thank you, Jesus, for Your broken body. I believe this is your body, which was bruised with all judgment for me. By Your bruise I was healed and made whole. I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” (Eat the bread)

(Hold the cup) “Thank you, Jesus, for Your shed blood. I believe this is your blood, which was shed for the forgiveness of all my past, present, and future sins. I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” (Drink the cup)

Meet Joyner & Ruth

Meet Joyner & RuthJoyner Briceño is a teacher of the Gospel of Grace of Jesus Christ in the United States and the world. He has been commissioned by God to bring back Jesus to the Church through the same radical Grace message that Paul preached in his day.

As an adolescent, Joyner received Jesus into his heart. With the intentions of seeking relationship with God, he became extremely zealous but not according to knowledge, thus becoming a modern day Pharisee. He believed that the way of obtaining Grace came through his performance and obedience to God.
